Virtual care across BCImmediate support

Some experiences do not fit the expected story.

A careful space for grief, disrupted expectations, and experiences around pregnancy or birth that continue to feel present.

Pregnancy loss and difficult birth experiences can affect identity, relationships, future decisions, and the way the body remembers what happened.

Counselling can offer room to process meaning and emotion without requiring you to move on, find a silver lining, or tell the story before you are ready.

This support may include

  • Grief following pregnancy loss
  • A birth experience that felt frightening, disempowering, or unresolved
  • Anxiety about future pregnancy, birth, or healthcare encounters
  • Isolation when others do not understand the significance of the loss or experience

What to expect

  • You choose what to share and how quickly to approach difficult material.
  • Specific trauma-treatment modalities, training, and scope will be confirmed before this service is opened for booking.

Is this a crisis or emergency service?

No. If you need immediate help, call 9-1-1, go to the nearest emergency department, call or text 9-8-8, or call 310-6789 in British Columbia.
