An abstract parent surrounded by symbols of time, care, and emotional load

The invisible load deserves support.

Counselling can help untangle pressure, worry, anger, identity, relationships, and the practical strain of caring for everyone while trying not to disappear yourself.

How virtual care works

Before you reach out.

Who can work with Cradle Therapy?

Cradle Therapy supports adults physically located in British Columbia who are navigating pregnancy, postpartum life, or the transition into parenthood. Join the waitlist for consultation availability; joining does not guarantee an appointment.

Are sessions covered by insurance?

Your plan may reimburse sessions with Mügé, a BCCSW Registered Social Worker with a BSW. Coverage varies by plan, so confirm eligibility, limits, referral requirements, and receipt requirements before booking. You pay for the session and receive an itemized receipt; Cradle Therapy does not currently offer direct billing.

How much does counselling cost?

Individual virtual counselling is $150 CAD for 50 minutes. When consultation space is available, a free 15-minute fit conversation lets you ask about the approach and process; it is not counselling. Joining the waitlist is free and does not reserve an appointment.

How do virtual sessions work?

Virtual counselling takes place by video while you are physically located in British Columbia. Before a session, you and Mügé review the video platform, privacy considerations, and a backup plan if the connection drops. Choose a private space and use headphones when helpful.

Is Cradle Therapy a crisis service?

No. For an emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency department. For crisis support, call or text 9-8-8, or call BC Mental Health Support at 310-6789 without an area code.
